Amritsar’s Daughter Shines at National Platform, Shares Vision with PM Modi at ‘Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue’

Diya Sharma, a talented young woman from the holy city of Amritsar, has brought pride to Punjab by representing the state at the nationally organized “Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue.” During this prestigious event, Diya not only had the opportunity to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi but also received the rare privilege of directly sharing her ideas about the future of the nation with him.

As a “Bharat Volunteer,” Diya described the meeting as one of the most memorable and proud moments of her life.

A Journey from Hard Work to Success

Diya Sharma’s achievement is nothing short of remarkable, but it is rooted in months of dedication and hard work. Her journey began in September last year with the “Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue Quiz.” From there, she progressed through several challenging stages, including essay writing, a state-level PPT challenge, and an interview round.

Hundreds of thousands of young participants from across the country took part in the competition, out of which only 3,000 were invited to Bharat Mandapam in Delhi. There, they presented their innovative ideas before jury members and mentors. From among these thousands of participants, only the top 20 young leaders were selected to speak directly before the Prime Minister — and Diya Sharma from Amritsar was one of them.

A Roadmap to Make India the “Startup Capital” of the World

On January 12, celebrated as National Youth Day, Diya proudly represented Punjab on a prestigious platform and presented her roadmap on the theme “Making India the Startup Capital of the World.”

She outlined how Indian youth, through innovation and entrepreneurship, can strengthen the nation’s economy and position India as a global leader.

Prime Minister Modi not only listened carefully to her suggestions but also guided her as a mentor. He encouraged her to share her ideas through blogs and vlogs so that they could reach every corner of the country and inspire more young people.

Future Goal: Serving the Nation as an IAS Officer

Diya has been academically excellent since childhood, and her teachers have consistently praised her intelligence and dedication. Her ultimate dream is to join the civil services and serve the nation. She aspires to become an IAS officer and bring positive change to society.

She credited the “My Bharat” portal for her success, stating that it provided a platform for young people like her to raise their voices and showcase their ideas.

A Proud Moment for the Family

This occasion was deeply emotional for Diya’s mother, Vishali Sharma. She said that seeing her daughter interact with the Prime Minister was one of the greatest honors of her life.

Diya also appealed to other young people not to keep their ideas to themselves, but to step forward and actively contribute to the development of the nation.
