For thousands of families in Gurdaspur and its surroundings, the darshan of Mata Vaishno Devi has always been a different desire and devotion. But earlier, the journey was a bit difficult to start, as the devotees had to first go to another city and catch a train. But now, this problem has been solved. Now people will be able to start the holy journey directly from their own city, which is not just a journey for them but a deep feeling. Today, when this demand has been fulfilled, it has become not just a convenience, but also a symbol of the city’s identity and development. This will not only provide convenience to the pilgrims, but will also boost the city’s connectivity in terms of business.

A new direction of development and trust

Speaking on the occasion, President Baghel Singh said that this step has been taken keeping in mind the development of Punjab and the needs of the people. Notably, many other leaders and workers were also present with him, who appreciated this decision. But the most important thing in this entire celebration were the common people, because the real happiness was clearly visible on their faces. Now the people of Gurdaspur can proudly say that the “Vande Bharat Train” will stop at their own station as well.
